Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Vice President, Product Management to join our growing and talented team based in our Raleigh, North Carolina offices.
The Vice President, Product Management is responsible for the product management and design functions for the Company including driving functional, industry and domain requirements for all products lines, as well as, the UI design and overall user experience.
This includes complete management of the product roadmaps, requirement methodology, design standards and driving the complete product development life-cycle from inception to release. In addition to the product design and product strategy.
This role will also oversee a team in support of market research, messaging market assessment, program evaluation activities and serve as the primary contact to the field for product related sales and go-to-market questions, materials and information.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have expertise in HR software management (talent acquisition, talent management or learning management) and thought leadership in the HCM software space is critical to succeed in this position.
The VP, Product Management is responsible for the delivery of all Company products with consistency in quality and delivery; at the same time, ensuring that the products meet customer expectations and supports the Company's business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and post-graduate degree, and or 15+ years of Product Management experience delivering software products.
- Excellent application knowledge in talent management and overall HR systems experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the software industry delivering enterprise software applications.
- Strong technical aptitude. This does not refer to programming capability but to an ability to understand technical cost factors, read design documents, etc.
- Strong matrix management skills as there are many cross functional team dependencies
