The focus of this role is in leading agile teams to create, configure, and support the solutions required to deliver a world class experience for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals partnering with Pfizer to run Finance Business Operations. The candidate will manage the solution engineering of technology solutions across all the Finance Operation Functions including Invoice to Cash, Procurement, Record to Report, Treasury, and Tax to ensure strong execution and appropriate implementation and utilization of technology.
The candidate will understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state), and determine corresponding enterprise systems designs and change requirements to drive the targeted business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge and solution engineering experience with a subject matter expertise in Finance solutions.
This person will be handling a diverse team located across multiple geographical locations. Apply Application and Infrastructure Engineering expertise to oversee execution of the target solution by leveraging and aligning Digital and Technology Enterprise standards Partner with core solution teams to design, build, test, and deploy enhancements to existing solutions and/or new finance solutions Provide performance guidance and recommendations to core finance solution teams Proactively plan for ongoing growth and system renewal as dictated by business requirements Align finance core teams on the standards, guidelines, and processes for procuring solution engineering services Liase with the Enterprise architect team on Pfizer s strategic direction to ensure all standards and guidelines at the solution core are fully aligned Act as level 3-4 solution experts when the support organization needs guidance/direction on technical solution issues and associated tickets Support core solution teams on audit requests and sox control compliance Partner closely with other areas in Finance Operations to deliver optimal solutions strategically aligned across the group and associated enterprise systems. Provide technical solution guidance and expertise for new and existing technology implementation/delivery. Stay abreast of new technology trends in the industry and potential use-cases for Pfizer. Partner with IT provisioning organizations and Application vendors to ensure that Finance IT solutions efficiently meet business requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS BS in Computer Science, mathematics or related field 10+ years of IT experience Solid Database skillset and Technical/coding expertise is required Proven architecture and performance engineering track record required in Finance Solutions Functional knowledge of Pfizer s Finance technology and compliance requirements Talent Acquisition, Management and Skills Development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Excellent communication skills; proven ability to interact with senior business executives and researchers Experience working and succeeding in a highly matrixed environment Experience with the enterprise solutions supporting Finance Operation Functions, SAP E1 etc. Experience with Automation technologies such as BluePrism etc. Experience with visualization tools and analytical toolsets a plus Knowledge of Software Lifecycle methodologies (SDLC, Agile etc.), and the management, completion and co-ordination of deliverables to support these process as required. Experience with implementing solutions in the cloud and meeting the associated compliance, security and audit implications
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Possible night and weekend work during project/program deployments. Ability to travel up to 25% of time as required
