Key Responsibilities:

The Control-M Workload Automation Analyst will participate in driving the strategy, service delivery and customer support of BMC Workload Automation - Control-M. The candidate will provide services in job scheduling, scripting/programming (of robust automation processes) and liaise with Information technology and business technology personnel. In the function the role will entail creation and maintenance of job scheduling flows, providing product support, delivering end user training and participating in various projects related to Control-M and other supported products the team supports. Additional tasks will include ensuring proper documentation for work performed, management of robust SOP's, training, communication (for maintenance/activities) and assisting application teams in general with fulfillment of requests related to Scheduling.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Required Qualifications:

Control-M Workload Automation (Control-M) version 8/9+

3+ years solid experience working as a Control-M Scheduler in a distributed environment and 1+ years Z/OS environment

2+ years Unix/Linux System Administration experience

2+ years programming experience with proficiency in Unix Shell (Korn/C/Bash) Scripting

Working knowledge of programming language (Perl/HTML/JavaScript)

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong documentation and automation skills

Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis and permanent problem resolution skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

Ability to define projects and tasks

College degree

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

Experience in maintaining BMC Control-O

Microsoft Windows Administration knowledge or experience (Server)

Data Center Operations experience in monitoring, incident handling and escalation for Control-M jobs

Experience working in financial services, banking, or other face paced regulated organizations
