Purpose of the Role Anatomic Pathology Account Executive
Front-line sales executive responsible for profitable growth in geographic area for specialized sales of the Anatomic Pathology services.
Responsible for supporting the AmeriPath/Quest practices by attaining sales targets
Aligned, deployed around the core AmeriPath/Quest businesses which includes clinical, hereditary cancer testing, and tissue services for various call points
Drive sales in assigned territory through targeting, pipeline development, growth of existing accounts, new lead generation and closes, and business development activities
Effectively use productivity and marketing tools in the sales process
Call Point Ownership
GI, GU, Surgery Centers, Endoscopy Centers, and Endocrinologist, related to supporting local Ameripath/Quest practices
Owns the clinical testing in the call point which would include hereditary genetic solutions (e.g.: GI and Lynch Syndrome, GU and BRCA)
Partner with PAE on clinical solutions
Attainment of revenue target
Business acumen measures
Five or more years lab, diagnostics or medical sales experience
Track record of successful medical sales
Experience selling to healthcare professionals
Demonstrated success managing customer relationships
Demonstrated knowledge of sales processes
Demonstrated subject matter expertise in anatomic pathology, oncology, molecular oncology and related cancer testing services
Drive for results
Interpersonal communication skills
