The Associate is a key role within the Home division, responsible for executing all marketing activities to support our Wholesale business and managing day-to-day Wholesale marketing team needs across two Home brands. This includes managing the marketing budget, leading the seasonal shoot / collateral development process and executing all details of our brand and registry marketing at wholesale to ensure our elevated brand position is maintained.
The Marketing Associate will partner with sales, retail development and merchandising to understand key strategies being developed for each wholesale partner and brand and ensure that our marketing activities further support these strategic initiatives. This role will also collaborate with the Digital Content & Operations team to connect brand and performance marketing to support business goals.
The candidate should be an enthusiastic team player who is motivated by challenges and embraces the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail with the capacity to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Build brand desirability & help develop marketing strategies to support the business goals of our wholesale channels, specifically North America department stores * Act as a key contact for internal and external teams in the development, execution and communication of marketing materials (In-store Collateral, Catalogs, Advertising, Asset Creation, Events, Digital Marketing) to support all strategic wholesale marketing needs:
o Clearly write strategic creative briefs
o Manage budgets and timelines
o Partner with wholesale accounts, Sales, RL Advertising, Content & Operations, Global Marketing and Retail Development to successfully complete initiatives
* Partner with Sr. Director and wholesale accounts on the development of Registry campaigns and manage program execution to align with strategic goals * Serve as Wholesale liaison for seasonal shoots by preparing and managing shot lists, confirming account ownership and supporting the RL Advertising and Global Marketing teams on-set * Manage co-op exposures across brands, including account shoot support, internal routing and tracker maintenance * Maintain all aspects of the marketing budget and billing process * Prepare and deliver presentations for a variety of audiences, including seasonal planning and recap decks * Lead bi-weekly meetings with cross-functional teams; actively participate in brand management status meetings * Develop knowledge of wholesale business, including competitive landscape, and proactively seek out marketing insights and consumer trends to support the business and help establish best practices
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* 1-3 years of experience in a multi-channel marketing role * Ability to develop relationships with key internal and external partners * Ability to solve problems fairly, utilizing creative thinking * Strong analytical, project management and communication skills; highly organized and detail oriented * Proficiency in Adobe Suite is a plus * Bachelor's degree from 4-year accredited college or university
