We are a mission-based business devoted to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and autism in a variety of settings. We are looking for Registered Behavior Technicians to provide ABA Services to children in Northern Virginia. We are looking for employees who are flexible in spirit, have a positive attitude, and are capable of supporting people with significant behavioral challenges. This position is in the Northern Virginia area and will include afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts. This position is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services. The incumbent will work directly with children, teaching them communication, social, and play skills. This instruction will occur in the natural context of a child's home, school, or other community setting. Staff will be trained in state-of-the-art instruction based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and receive supervision from an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 home-based ABA services for youth under the age of 21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities Provide parent training and support client’s caregivers through a variety of methods Collaborate with other professionals from various agencies in the community including: social services, schools, physicians, etc. Participate in training and clinical supervision that focus on integrating ABA with other effective therapeutic strategies Work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to maximize effectiveness of interventions as delineated in client’s treatment plans Implementation of behavior treatment programs as designed by the supervising Behavior Analyst Collection of data and completion of treatment notes as required Requirements: HS diploma required Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education or related field preferred Minimum 1 year of experience working with children; experience working with children who have developmental disabilities preferred Experience with interventions to address maladaptive behaviors Must have an RBT certification or pass the RBT training curriculum and exam within the first 30 days of employment Compensation: $1,000 sign-on bonus for candidates who already possess the RBT credential $500 to be awarded after 30 days of successful billing and another $500 after six months of employment. $18.00-$20.00 per hour Candidates already possessing the RBT credential will be considered for higher salary rate Employee discounts to local vendors comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401 (k) retirement plan admittance that is available to ALL employees Join a growing team with endless possibility for advancement and career growth and development.
