Summary: The Director, Customer Insights (Multi-Brand & Market Access) is an individual contributor role that helps deliver critical insights and analytics which aid in decision making regarding pre-commercial assets, promoted brands and Market Access across all therapy areas. Responsibilities: Across Brands: 1) Drive the needed reporting and analytic diagnostics that help monitor current performance and predict future performance for commercial 2) Oversee the commercial KPI process by coordinating with internal stakeholders, the alliance and vendors while also helping automate ad-hoc reporting/querying requests into I&A across brands 3) Lead engagements with key vendors in establishing connectivity of data assets, imputation of business rules, alignment with Alliance stakeholders and coordination of communication with CBU stakeholders 4) Work collaboratively with the respective Customer Insights brand leads and assist on an as-needed basis on new project engagements which require additional resourcing/supervision 5) Help leverage customer insights data and vendor partnerships to elevate deliverables and assets to better inform business decisions 6) Support commercial Business Intelligence team in streamlining and platforming secondary data reports, and creation of an I&A portal to access all content Market Access: 7) Provide market research support for Market Access,Trade, and PSP team. Match business insight needs with analytical solutions that help track performance for Market Access services Leadership: 8) Provide leadership in streamlining Alliance Market Research alignment across brands 9) Lead the "Preferred Provider" initiative with Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, across Customer Insights and Advanced Analytics 10) Facilitate implementation of next-gen investments in I&A - eye-tracking, social listening, behavioral science, predictive analytics, machine learning, crowd-sourcing, knowledge management engines (Northern Light, Market Logic, etc.) Requirements: BS/BA required. Masters degree/MBA required 12 years of "progressive" industry/relevant professional experience; 10 years of pharmaceutical or commercial products analytical experience in a commercial operations setting. Experience managing customer insights, metrics/KPI reporting across 2 therapeutic areas, and leveraging best practices Prior experience working with an Alliance partner required Knowledge of Marketing Excellence strategic choice frameworks (e.g. segmentation, brand positioning, leverage point identification) required. Experience implementing these strategic choices on actual brands a plus Experience working with reporting dashboards and competitive intelligence audit databases a plus Some experience using secondary subnational prescription and sales data. Experience with mainstream Pharma databases (IMS Xponent PlanTrak, Symphony, NPA Audit) preferred Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required Basic presentation skills to take sophisticated analysis and apply a business context for non-analytical associates required This is an opportunity to join our select team that is already leading the way in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
