Classification: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Compensation: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 per year

Our client in Riverside is looking for an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK to join their team. The Accounts Receivable position will efficiently and accurately perform various financial, administrative and clerical duties and functions within the Accounting department under the direction and supervision of the Controller/Manager.
Post and reconcile A/R invoice and cash receipt batches Research and resolve customer A/R issues Process credits and/or debits as required Prepare aging report Conduct billing and collection calls Maintain cash receipts journal Update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L Provide information as requested to customers Compile monthly sales reporting for sales/marketing department and other stake holders Update various departments on payment status related to progress billings and/or time sensitive orders Maintain record of daily deposit activity Develop data from various sources to compile information as needed; prepare various analytical worksheets For Credit/ Collections duties Process credit reference requests Summarize credit profile for new account approval Enter new customer accounts Maintain existing customer data and credit files Contact customers to help resolve payment issues Verify new order activity in preparation of credit approval Other duties as assigned. ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: Previous Accounts Receivable experience, 3+ years Previous Credit and Collections experience, 3+ years Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and credit/collection processes Detail oriented, accurate and able to multitask in a fast paced environment (manufacturing environment a plus) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Excellent confidentiality skills and experience Computer Skills ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills; MAS and/or Sage 100 Accounting experience a plus.
