  • About the Role:

    Due to growth, Salmon Health seeks experienced cooks to help prepare menu items that maintain the company s level of excellence and assist the Chef in upholding departmental policies, procedures and standards.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of the menu and salads items for all meals and special functions as assigned by the Chef
  • Assist the Chef in receiving and storing all products in the kitchen
  • Must be able to operate all kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  • Responsible for the duties of the Chef in his/her absence.
  • Communicate with the Chef on any problems or concerns observed in the department.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Required skills and qualifications

  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Two years or more of experience in restaurant or institutional food preparation
  • Able to organize, distribute, and follow through on work production.
  • Capable of replacing staffing in times of shortages
  • Must be able to relate to and work with the elderly
