Job Summary

SHI has an exciting opportunity to join a new and dynamic team. As a Business Development Manager for E-rate, you will help contribute to the continued growth of SHI Public Sector. SHI's Public Sector Division manages $2B+ in revenue annually and supports SHI's State & Local Government, Higher Education, K12 and Healthcare customers. What is E-Rate? The Federal Communications Commission's E-rate program makes telecommunications and information services more affordable for schools and libraries. With funding from the Universal Service Fund, E-rate provides discounts for telecommunications, Internet access and internal connections to eligible schools and libraries. The amount of funding provided is approximately $3B annually. The primary responsibility for the E-Rate Business Development Manager will be to make SHI the trusted E-rate provider for customers and vendor partners. We will achieve our goals by prospecting to target customers and responding to as many E-Rate bids as possible. Responsibilities/Job Function

Include but not limited to: Prospect and Profile existing and new customers to expand SHI's E-Rate Business Use E-Rate tools to identify bids within SLED and SM SLED regions Review E-rate bids based on established criteria to determine viable opportunities Act as liaison between Account Executives/IAE and SHI internal departments Leverage resource/support departments (RFP, Contracts, Partner Teams, ESG, etc.) to prepare E-rate response on behalf of SHI Respond to E-Rate bids with quotes, deal registrations, and partner pricing programs Analyze win/loss ratio to assist with increasing SHI's E-Rate program efficiencies Create awareness of our E-rate capabilities through campaign activities Consistently achieve or exceed activity and goals

Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required

Qualifications: College diploma/University degree 1 year experience within a Sales position in a Corporate environment Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel Required Skills: Strong telephone and email communication skills Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities Abiility to build a knowledge of data center technologies Self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment High level of interest in Technology Ability to build and expand on customer base and SHI's E-Rate Business Equal Employment Opportunity M/F/Disabi
