SHI has an exciting opportunity available in our Corp Advanced Solutions department as a Regional Solutions Manager. We are looking for a Technical Sales and Pre-Sales Manager that is customer, partner and SHI facing to uncover and develop opportunities: Focus on development of network architecture sales through development and coaching of solutions engineers Consultative approach with expert understanding of how networking technology enables business success Attract, develop and retain top talent Executing on the SHI vision and mission Strong sales and communication skills Highly organized with process driven mentality Responsible for the Networking sales quota in supported territory Pipeline management and ownership for regional opportunities Account profiling and penetration of multiple Solution Practices in existing accounts Execute SHI Sales Methodology and strategy with direct reports, sales counterparts, partners and customers with Regional Sales Teams
Interfaces with multiple layers of contacts within an organization, including but not limited to CIO, CTO, IT Directors, Application Managers, etc. Responsible for driving the sales process of the solution, including identifying the opportunity, qualifying, forecasting, decision-making criteria, and closing Develops the region/territory based on strategic account planning by collaborating with sales leadership and extended ASG team Executes on recommending comprehensive solutions which achieve customer expectations and meet customer business needs and planning Builds deep relationships and trust with customers, partners, and SHI employees and owns the technical side of relationships Focus on delivering a world-class customer experience by executing on the SHI vision and mission statement Interacts with Local Technology Community (MFGs and SI Partners) and the appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility and ensure the sales team understands the customer's on-going enterprise needs. Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required
3+ years managing a Pre-Sales Technical Engineering team Experience working in complex enterprise network architecture sales opportunities Advanced knowledge of enterprise network architectures and their business impact Deep understanding and experience working with enterprise technology organizations (Cisco/Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper, Dell, HP, Customers, etc.) and knowledge of IT competitive landscape Passion for technology Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Visio/PPT and delivering customer proposals Experience working with Business Intelligence tools Ability and desire to work within a team environment, and at times independently Development and coaching experience is required Proactive mindset.
