We?re currently looking for servers to work a variety of events such as banquets, corporate parties, stadium events, and more. Common server responsibilities include banquet service, buffet service, passed plates, and light event set up/breakdown or cleaning.
In order to be a server with Shiftgig, you must:
Have at least six months experience as a server in a food service or hospitality setting.
Ability to work in a fast pace environment while abiding by all Food & Safety Regulations.
Shiftgig Specialists (what we call our workers) use the Shiftgig App to pick-up shifts; All Specialists are required to have a smartphone.
If you have other positions you?re interested in working, make sure you mention that in your application! Shiftgig Specialists have the opportunity to work a variety of positions that match their experience.
The Shiftgig app is a marketplace, which means shifts are available on the app as requested by clients. This also means that sometimes you won?t always see the same amount of shifts week-to-week. We?re ramping up for busy season, which is from March-November, so you can expect to see a high volume of shifts during that time. With the Shiftgig app, you have the ability to work the shifts that fit into your schedule -- and make some extra cash while doing it.
Once you download the Shiftgig app, you?ll be asked to complete a short video to showcase your great personality and to talk about the relevant experience you have. From there, a member of our hiring team will assess your application to make sure you?re a good fit for the platform. If they decide to move forward, you?ll be asked to complete electronic paperwork, and meet a member of our team in person to verify your identification.
