What does our department do?

CNN Business is CNN's digital vertical focusing on the future of global business -companies, tech, media and markets. We put a heavy editorial focus on technology and how it's shaping business and all of our lives worldwide. CNN Business' editors and writers focus on the three principal disruptive forces that are shaping the future of business: Technology & innovation, climate change, and inclusion. In addition to being a consumer-facing digital platform, CNN Business' newsroom serves as the business newsgathering desk of CNN Worldwide.

What will you be doing?

Editorial interns at CNN Business report and write and do research. They get a front-row seat into the editorial process. They strengthen their reporting and writing skills. They participate in meetings. They work closely with writers and editors throughout the newsroom.

What do we need from you?

Candidates should be passionate about business and news, curious, self-motivated and ready to work collaboratively. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Program dates are June 3rd to August 9th.

Interns are paid at least minimum wage ($15/hour), up to 40 hours/week, and relocation is not provided.

Requirements:

* Must be currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Applicants should be a rising sophomore status or greater.
* Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
* All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to starting the internship
