As Head of Payments you will be responsible for the commercial aspects of the payments and risk by providing cost efficient payment options and attractive commercials as well as provide guidelines with getting into new markets.You will lead and supervise a team. This includes the resource planning of your team, guidance of strategy and scope, specification/requirements review and escalation handling and fallback for individual contribution.You will formulate and deliver the medium and long term payments product vision in line with the group commercial strategy and objectives. This will include owning the Payments product strategy, roadmap and customer experience for our US payments platform. You will be responsible for collecting and generating new product ideas and introducing enhancements to the existing payments product, driving the development of our platform with the goal to enable commercial success as measured in revenue, EBITDA and market share.You will ensure the successful planning, scoping and implementation (together with the technology teams) for the whole US payments area. Key Responsibilities: Research, plan and advise regarding new US market entrance and existing US market expansion. Working closely with our marketing, compliance, product and technology units. Build and maintain relationship with payment providers as well.Reviewing existing payment processors, their services, commercials in order to get better variety as well as competitive terms Generate new ideas and enhancements in existing payment features, as well as other features and processes in the payments and gaming environment.Work with Risk & Payments operational teams on streamlining processes and ensuring best customer experience.Optimise cost and aim to reduce overall cost while supporting business growthReview and analyse approval rate on a regular basis and take actions accordinglyCreate a recovery plan/backup strategy for each Present to management pipeline and bottlenecksAssist to optimise the customer journey Responsibility for the payments product strategy, ensuring it is line with company and business strategies.Development and having ownership of the payments product roadmap, including prioritization of projects and negotiating the launch timeframes with the payments business, project management and development teams.Development, monitoring and improvement of payments-specific product KPIs, including creation of KPI frameworks for new products and guiding the team to work data-driven.Monitor product performance and quality, leading optimization or instant problem solving.Regularly conduct and publish market intelligence and competitive analysis, identifying areas of opportunity, change and improvement.Ensure that all payments product work is seamless within the overall gaming platform.Collection and generation of new product ideas, enhancements to existing products, collating requests from both internal and external requestors, as well as customers and the payments business team.Conduct regular service reviews with all providers and engage in regular strategic discussions including marketing incentives offered by providers.Provide payments expertise during discussions with regulators and potential customersCreate real-time dashboards of payment KPIsExperience, Knowledge, Behaviors requiredProven experience of working in a similar capacity within the online gaming industryExtensive experience in US Payment Industry Excellent communication, negotiation, organisational, leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams and to internalise new processes and developments in a highly dynamic industry.Data-driven and detail-orientated with strong analytical, problem-solving skills.Ability to present business and technical teams with ideas, issues and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats.Bachelor or MBA degreeDeep technical knowledge regarding payment solutionsSDL2017
