(Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Regular
A solo hospital site in southern Virginia is in need of diagnostic radiology locums coverage for ongoing weeks. Candidates need to be comfortable with general diagnostic radiology to including mammography and MQSA certification. They will also need to have a VA license, be ABR board certified, and have a DEA license. The average daily volume is 50 plain film, 10 cat scans, 5 MR, 35 mammograms, 15 ultrasounds, 3 nuclear medicine procedures, and 1-2 light interventional procedures. Total diagnostic volume is 120 studies per day. The client can send out overflow reads out to tele-radiology to as needed during busy times, but most cases, especially larger more complicated cases need to be read on site. Some light interventional work is required the site just needs to know what procedures the radiologist can perform Schedule is Monday- Friday, 8 am- 5 pm and the radiologist has the option to arrive Sunday.Job Benefits
