Our client's engineering team is taking on challenges to improve their internal CRM system and create new products to optimize the seamless delivery of their services. They are looking to add a Network Engineer to this team on a temp to perm basis. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for configuration, operation, and administration of network server hardware, operating systems, and communications links Identify, diagnose, and resolve network-related service problems Monitor day-to-day network performance, troubleshoot network problems and outages, participate in scheduled upgrades and collaborate with network architects on network optimization Designs, configures, maintains and manages network security features for local and wide area networks Configures, monitors, and maintains anti-virus programs to insure network and systems integrity Analyzes, recommends, and evaluates new hardware, software, and communications products for network compatibility and applicability Develops, maintains and updates a library of technical documentation. REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 5 years of network engineering experience required Must have knowledge of local and wide area networks computer software and hardware knowledge of data communications, network planning and analysis and vendor evaluations Background working with Ethernet technologies. Knowledge of VDI, trunking, multilayer switching, VLANs, Spanning Tree, etc. Experience with Cloud networking Experience with major hardware vendors and platforms, including Cisco, Juniper, F5, and Palo Alto Networks Experience with cloud (MS Azure) Ability to work with Security Engineer CCNA certification a plus Please send resumes to
