The Customer Service Representative will maintain and increase market share by satisfying customer needs and meeting management objectives.
+ Input orders into computer system correctly
+ Pull orders from the PC and process correctly
+ Communicate issues/concerns to appropriate personnel effectively and timely
+ Maintain existing customer base through effective customer service skills
+ Identify lost/split customers and inform manager
+ Foster solid working relationships with other departments
+ Follow through with customer requests
+ Operate the phone system
+ Maintain open communications with Produce Specialist
+ Answer phone calls in a timely manner
+ Notify customers daily of items stocked out or substituted
+ Receive inventory into the computer
+ Filing documents properly
+ Update spread sheets
+ Other duties as assigned
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Proven ability to communicate effectively to satisfy the customers' needs
+ General understanding of distribution and warehousing procedures preferred
+ One (1) year experience in a sales related or call center position preferred
+ Proficient in MS Office
+ Experience with AS400 preferred
+ Ability to sit and work at a P/C for extended periods
+ Strong telephone communication skills
+ Able to work in a fast pace environment
