ACCOUNTABILITIES

:

  • Utilization of non-viral approach to deliver different types of nucleic acids, including DNA and RNA.
  • Using rationale and comprehensive approach to generate oligo sequences in silico
  • Design oligo sequences (eg. shRNA, miRNA, etc) as gene therapy vector transgene sequences that could be suitable for utilization in viral vector design.
  • Hands on generation of ASO, siRNA or other format of oligos using a synthesizer as oligo therapeutics candidates.
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts to formulate oligos for nucleic acid delivery in in vitro and in vivo preclinical testing, using non-viral technologies.
  • Follow compliance of documentation in electronic lab notebook and author scientific reports that supports internal documentation and regulatory submissions.
  • Demonstrate good organizational and communication skills. Expected to be accountable for effectiveness and timelines of completion of project goals.

  • EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • PhD degree in a scientific discipline with 8+ years of experience.
  • Work with the latest non-viral gene delivery technologies including LNP, Liposomes, Exosomes and/or other technologies for delivery of nucleic acid and/or protein complex.
  • Experienced with external facing interactions with academic and/or industrial collaborators and conduct collaborative projects and potentially conducting due diligence evaluation.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills for presentations, report writing and day-to-day project team communications.
  • Demonstrate good organizational and communication skills. Expected to be accountable for effectiveness and timelines of completion of project goals.
  • Follow compliance of documentation in electronic lab notebook and author scientific reports that supports internal documentation and regulatory submissions.
  • Attend relevant scientific conferences and stay on top of literature publication to stay current in relevant research.
  • Ability to conduct business travel (10%), including overnight trips. Some international travel may be required.
  • As a global organization, availability to participate in early or late meetings/teleconferences.
