EDI Developer Analyst
Compensation: $107,073.33 - $127,870.00 /year *

POSITION PURPOSE: Plan, Design, develops, tests, and EDI documents processes for EDI Systems. Has responsibility for production support, onboarding, coordinating, mapping and communications of EDI Systems.
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs Sterling Integrator: Data Mapping, Mailbox Setup, and Communication
Works with EDI partners to exchanges transactions between OWI and EDI partners, both new Onboarding and Enhancements. Key transactions include: PO, POC, ASN, INV, etc.
Reports to management on status of exchanges between OWI and EDI Partners.
Obtains, reviews, and exchanges EDI implementation guides with trading partners.
Participates in preparation of execution of test plans
Consults with trading partner/users/management to identify current operating procedures and clarify mapping and communication objectives.
Prepares documentation in accordance with Old Worlds methodology and standards.
Monitor IDoc failures and escalate to the business users for resolution. Ability to identify unique situations, root cause and escalate to SAP functional teams or business partners.
Interacts with EDI Manger to identify project scope and to track and report project status
Helpdesk tickets research, resolution or escalation
Knowledge and experience in the use of IDoc user exits and enhancements available in SAP to support unique business requirements.
Good understanding of IDoc structures and usage in SAP functional areas of SD, MM, and Finance.
Identifies poor or inefficient automation and suggests remedies. Has ability to view business process and suggest opportunities for business automation.
Prepare and execute test scripts for business process changes and upgrades.
Reads manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn ways to improve EDI processes.
Meets regularly with EDI Manager to review progress on EDI implementation and benefits achieved.
Enter EDI development or implementation requests into the project tracking system and maintain current status for reporting purposes.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Bachelors Degree preferred with 3-4 years of experience with EDI systems.
Demonstrate innovation, action, high levels of maturity and professionalism
Expertise in data mapping.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of EDI standards ANSI-X12 & EDIFACT
850, 855, 860, 856, 810, 940, 945, 204, 214, ORDERS, DESADV, INVOIC
Support Sterling B2B Integrator software, EDIFECS Software
Experience with Sterling B2B Integrator Mapper, VANs, ISPs, and Internet security packages
Recommended skills are SAP, XML, Sterling B2B Integrator Admin, Sterling B2B BPO Language.
Working knowledge of EDI translation software package.
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to identify problems, present, develop and execute solutions.
Has the ability to organize and handle multiple concurrent tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and interact with other people in a friendly, professional manner.
