Teradyne is currently seeking an Application Engineer to join the North Reading team. He/She will serve as the in-house and field expert on our TestStation Handler products. Diagnose and debug TestStation applications in the field and in our labs. Work with engineering on reproducing and fixing problems, creating workarounds and developing new tests Assist Sales Engineering in training customers, presenting at trade shows and creating demonstrations for our TestStation products Represent the customer in presenting problems and requests to engineering and product management Collaborate on planning new features. Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required Successful candidates must have a BS Degree in EE, Computer Engineering and/or Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience 3-10 years of experience At least 2 years field application experience supporting industrial customers is required Knowledge of software applications is required and interest in electro-mechanical system operation is preferred Basic Programming Experience required Quickly assimilate new technologies Strong analytical/problem solving skills Strong sense of team-oriented problem solving techniques Must be able to work independently and on cross-functional teams Equally comfortable with electromechanical hardware and software - Ability to work individually on problems, but recognize appropriate escalation timelines and methods - Flexibility and ability to prioritize individual workload - Approximately 30% international travel required, 70% work in North Reading facility with some domestic travel - Highly motivated team player who can excel in a dynamic environment with strong personal discipline, and good verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in spoken and written English 15128BRSalary Range: NAMinimum QualificationLess than 5 years Associated topics: .net, algorithm, application, c++, matlab, perl, php, python, sde, software programmer
