Position Overview:

The Sales Operations Manager will support the development of sales and operations strategy while understanding priorities and execute on operational plans. The goal is to optimize sales and operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement and system enhancements and best practice sharing.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure sales operations policies/practices are reviewed/revised as technology and business conditions change
  • Make recommendations to enhance productivity, sales revenue and collaboration between HR, operations, sales
  • Partner with IT teams to understand new capabilities available across our multiple systems and train sales representatives/managers to use these capabilities
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and initiate, drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Apply quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers
  • Ability to understand, create, and deliver top-quality, audience-appropriate communication
  • Assist the sales operations manager in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies to implement data enrichment processes to improve sales teams performance
  • Develop and maintain sales analytics reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for the sales and operation leadership teams
  • Process and Invoice orders
  • Dispatch drivers as needed

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field plus 4+ years of experience managing sales / operations teams
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, be detailed-oriented and deliver results
  • Confident communicator, both written and oral, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience facilitating meetings and keeping teams focused on objectives, next steps and action plans
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the sales / operations organization including VP’s, Directors, Managers, and individual contributors
