User Experience (UX) Designers seeking immediate employment in the Jersey City, New Jersey area, might be interested in this unique opportunity with one of The Creative Group's clients. This is a long-term temporary opportunity. The User Experience (UX) designer is in charge of user research, the administering of interviews and surveys of diverse populations, and the translation of results into sitemaps, wireframes, and design prototypes. Ideal candidates for this role will also be able create the overall functionality of the product and work tirelessly to make incremental improvements to deliver an exceptional user experience. How you will make an impact - Lending a helping hand to other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.) - Focus areas may consist of content, controls, visual design, packaging, customer/technical support, branding, and other aspects of user experience - Designing satisfying or compelling experiences for users of a product, drawing on results from user research and workflow analysis - Collaborating with other members of the digital marketing team on the development of new initiatives - Crafting tools such as personas, usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies, and wireframes - Partnering with business users and application developers to translate requirements into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes - Overseeing usability testing on prototypes or finished products to assess the quality of a user experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience - A portfolio with UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work - High attention to detail - Excellent communication and organizational skills - This position requires strong interpersonal skills for the candidate to be successful - Experience with Adobe InDesign - Solid understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud - Well-founded grasp of High Fedelity Prototyping - Proficiency in UX - Concept Sketches experience required - Proven knowledge of wireframes - HTML experience - General familiarity with Usability Testing - Experience with design software applications and tools - Knowledge of Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools) - Knowledge of graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative Suite - Proficient in prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin) - 3+ years of experience within the digital design/UX industry
