Provides services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Examines patient's medical history, evaluates their physical abilities, determines their potential to respond to therapy, and develops treatment plans.
This position includes, but is not limited to the following essential functions. Essential Functions: Evaluates and develops treatment plans of patients Supervises assistants, support staff, students and volunteers Participates in self-development, staff education, mentoring and orientation Contributes to program development Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
Graduate of accredited allied health professional education program.
Licensed by the State as a Physical Therapist.
CPR certification required.
Experience Requirements Entry level or experience in current clinical practice
