Motivated Solutions Engineer with Superior Communication Skills
The Solutions Engineer is a mission critical role that will help shape and define the future ofThreatModeler and our long-term growth strategy. ThreatModeler Software Inc. is industry s #1automated Threat modeling platform. The Solutions Engineer will be a trusted technical advisor to a wide range of customers from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises and as such, must be adaptable and ready for anything.
Core ResponsibilitiesWork with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customertechnical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.Own the technical relationship with customers, including managing product and solutionbriefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate the value provided in customer/partnerenvironments.Provide technical expertise during sales cycle and post sales to help drive user adoptionAssists the Sales Team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies,produce account specific product and service and sales enablement plans.Support and drive proof of concepts and proof of value with prospect customers.Recommend security best practices, cloud architecture, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete security solutionWork with the Executive team in defining the go-to-market strategy as well as developing agrowth plan for the SE team
Requirements2+ years experience as a technical sales engineer in a cyber security environment orequivalent experience in a customer-facing engineer roleSecurity Vendor Experience (preferably in the endpoint or incident response space)Experience with AWS, Azure, private clouds, VMs, and containerized application architecture.Experience in and understanding of cloud deployments - especially as it relates to security and compliance requirements.Proven success in presenting and delivering technical pitches to CISOs, architects, andtechnical staff.Must be willing to travel as needed no travel limitationsAptitude in delivering attractive presentationsMust be detail oriented with strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, and multi-task on multiple project work streams.Self-motivating, entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be resourceful and take initiative.Bachelor s or master s degree in Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related field.Equivalent work experience considered.Start-Up Experience & having a go-getter mentality!Previous DevOps/DevSecOps experience is a huge plus!
