This role will be responsible for providing production support for the Bank's Compliance and Payment related applications. ********************************************************************** This is a technical position where business experience is good to have - but technology requirements are a MUST HAVE . It resides in the Payments production support area - so SWIFT ,CHIPS,FED applications technology is a MUST HAVE as well. Technology requirements - UNIX, LINUX or RED Hat, ETL, Websphere, etc. *******************************************************************************
Support the compliance applications, systems and services to ensure the bank meets all of its legal and regulatory responsibilities and obligations in connection with Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and fraud detection and prevention efforts. Provide support for new sanctions lists ( within Fircosoft Sanctions filtering software), system upgrades and on-call user support. In addition to compliance, the successful candidate will be utilizing his/her knowledge of the basic functions for carrying out payment instructions using SWIFT, CHIPS, FEDWIRE, CHAPS, DTA, SEPA, ACH, CMS and internal Bank s payments.
5 + years of experience working with Compliance applications including FircoSoft systems and NICE Actimize AML applications. Strong knowledge and experience with Sanctions screening, AML Surveillance and other compliance functions. Knowledge on the functionality of Fircosoft Sanctions filtering software Extensive knowledge and experience in IT operations, decision-making and troubleshooting. Some knowledge of Money Transfer Operations including knowledge of payments from FED, CHIPS, SWIFT Knowledge of Foreign Currency and European payments, SWIFT message formats ,Fedwire and payment formats is a plus. Background in providing production support services for commercial payment processing. Banking Technology background preferred. Unix/Linux background is preferred Knowledge of messaging and job scheduling systems (e.q., MQ, TWS ) a plus Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills. Proficient using MS Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio. Ability to work in a team environment, technically skilled to debug processing problems. Adaptability to change to embrace the continuous changes in IT. Ability to work within set SLA's. Hard working and innovative, self-motivated. Problem solving skills, the ability to research and diagnose an issue where several systems are involved. *Ability to work flexible hours including rotational over-night shift (20:00-04:00 AM) and rotational evening and weekend on-call support (when required/necessary).
