Responsibilities

  • Serve as Budget Officer for Madigan Army Medical Center, subordinate branch health clinics, and primary staff assistant to the Chief, Resource Management Division.
  • Execute specific fiscal programs to support Madigan Army Medical Centers plans and objectives.
  • Interpret financial management and budget regulations to implement instructions.
  • Develop budget reports supporting documentation for programming budget inputs for the year plan.
  • Represent the command at budget reviews and hearings at higher echelons.
  • Supervise employees in task necessary to accomplish budgetary formulation and execution.
  • Organize daily operations of the Program and Budget Branch Division.

  • In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below.     Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; analyze continual changes in budgetary plans, evaluate funding and their effect on financial and budgetary programs; monitor financial and budgetary relationships to develop recommendations for financial or budgetary actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
