Job Description Verisk's Global HR Operations team is seeking a systems SME to support our global HR platforms, including performance management, talent acquisition, survey, compliance, and learning and development. The individual will be responsible for driving HR systems, project implementation and providing input into overall HR systems architecture, strategy and planning. This position is based in our Jersey City, NJ office, conveniently located across the street from the Newport path station. Just one stop from Christopher Street, we're an easy 10-minute commute from lower Manhattan (and about 20 minutes from Brooklyn). As our go-to person, you will have the autonomy to own and execute a full range of functions including business process configuration, security administration, report and dashboard development, system integration, system updates, training and communication. As our organization continues to evolve, you will play an integral role in selecting, optimizing and adding new systems and tools to ensure business needs are met. While challenging, this will also be enormously interesting, fun and allow you to witness the real-time impact that you have on both Verisk's business plan and its success. Simply put, we are seeking a motivated HR Systems Admin Lead to help a thriving public company execute its business plan. Activities and Responsibilities: Have the overall responsibility for administering, managing, monitoring and configuring the system aspects of global HR business processes for talent acquisition, performance and learning management and core HR transactions. Manage the team through day-to-day operations to understand business needs and objectives, troubleshoot data and systems issues, recommend solutions and implement process efficiencies, enhancements and fixes within the context of approved methods. Oversee maintenance of security model based on functional responsibilities and configure HR system to enforce the security access to data. Be accountable for the integrity of overall HR data and perform regular system audits. Build and maintain strong partnerships and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization and the HRIS team to deliver excellent customer service to our employee population. Define and document the functional requirements for applications or systems based on business needs, translate business requirements for system configuration and support changes by testing, training, documentation development, and communication. Coordinate with our system vendors and help manage relationships to ensure we are receiving the support needed to maintain setup. Track vendor service requests to final resolution; escalate as necessary. Facilitate vendor system upgrades and enhancements. Track software releases, review vendor release notes, perform impact analyses on existing business processes, consult with appropriate stakeholders, and coordinate user acceptance testing. May prepare test scripts and perform system configuration. Participate in company-wide project initiatives to ensure proper integration and thorough testing is completed from an HR perspective. Plan and develop training sessions for users; develop the training schedule, coordinate training sessions, prepare training materials and design and implement training modules. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience preferred, concentration in HRIS Minimum of 8 years' experience in HR system administration and providing end-user support and training for corporate applications in a networked environment 4+ years as a systems lead or overall HRIS system owner Prior management experience required PeopleSoft, PeopleFluent or Cornerstone experience is a plus Experience with HR processes and system support/set up: Payroll; Compensation; Benefits and Leave Administration; Talent Acquisition; New Hire On-boarding and HRIS administration; Learning System Administration; & Performance Management Administration Superior project management skills, experience leading a major system or integration implementation between HRIS systems Strong analytical, problem solving, root cause analysis and research skills Highly organized and strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong Excel skills (conditional/logical statements, data manipulation, vlookup, arrays, etc.) Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion Excellent team leader and collaborator in addition to being able to work independently Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/stakeholders; strong time management skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)Salary Range: NAMinimum Qualification8 - 10 years
