Job Description We are seeking a strong full stack senior .NET Developer responsible for building front end and back end components using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Razor and JavaScript. You will be responsible for collaborating with the business and technology teams to build rich web-based applications and REST web services/integrations to support business needs. As a senior developer you will be expected to have a strong foundation of object-oriented programming, design patterns and n-tier application architecture. While the position is primarily focused on ASP.NET/C#, our .NET developers are expected to have a solid grasp of SQL Server and writing T-SQL code. Responsibilities of the Role o Develop within a rich Single Page Application based client framework using ASP.NET MVC, Razor, JavaScript, AJAX and jQuery. Build custom C# applications using WEB-API application layer against a SQL Server database. o Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code and document software according to the functional requirements. o Write efficient T-SQL stored procedures, functions and views to support UI components. o Create and maintain code quality standards and provide technical leadership for junior developers on the team. o Collaborate with the business in JAD sessions to design innovative solutions to business problems or automate labor-intensive processes. o Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. o Participate in Agile development process and deliver solutions in a fast-paced sprint team. o Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, senior management and team members. Qualifications o 5-8 years' experience in web and software development. o Bachelor's Degree required; Computer Science preferred. o Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Razor and WEB-API. o Proficient in JavaScript and key JS frameworks: JQuery, Knockout, Angular/2, React, Durandal. o Strong understanding of SQL Server and T-SQL code with the ability to write and maintain SQL stored procedures, functions and views. o Strong understanding of JSON and RESTful web services architecture. o Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development processes and methods. o Strong understanding of design and architectural patterns. o Strong understanding of SCM tools (GIT, SVN, TFS) and common branching strategies. o Strong understanding of Agile principles and a team-oriented approach to software development. o Ability to lead JAD sessions with business teams and communicate well with all levels of the organization. o Demonstrated several years' experience designing, developing and maintaining multi-tiered web-based applications. o Knowledge of DevOps best practices, CI/CD methodologies a big plus. o Experience with AWS/cloud application architecture and design a big plus.
