What you'll be doing...
The Network Supply Chain Program Management Strategic Initiatives team has an opening for a Program Manager responsible for developing, managing and implementing strategic initiatives with a focus on to inventory management models that simplify processes, reduce inventory and drive cost out of the business. The position will be responsible for leading high profile projects that cover spend of over $8B annually.
This role will require extensive partnering with the Network team as well as a variety of stakeholder groups across other Verizon organizations including large scale equipment suppliers. Responsibilities include data analytics, process development, program development, supplier management and significant stakeholder engagement.
Design, implement and manage programs focused on simplifying processes, improving service levels and maximizing inventory utilization to drive down inventory days of supply.
Collaborate with sourcing teams and suppliers to ensure all commercial agreements and processes are in place to support programs.
Provide input and manage IT improvement initiatives to ensure the right tools are in place for program success.
Supply Chain Program Lead for best practices in consolidating ERP systems down to 1: SME in current ERP systems today (PeopleSoft, nSAP, vSAP); adapting best practices for process from procurement of equipment to install; pooling implementation/expansion to include process development, field training and support.
Subject matter expert to assist field market teams with change management of new processes.
What we're looking for...
You will need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience with ERP systems.
Experience analyzing and modeling large data sets from various sources.
Leadership experience.
Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering or related field.
Seven or more years of industry experience with strong competency in inventory management practices, planning, warehousing, and procurement processes.
Experience developing and delivering executive communication through knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership abilities with a successful record of engaging and influencing collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to apply data analytic techniques to opportunities and design and implement strategic initiatives.
Ability to manage inventory improvement initiatives and end-to-end Supply Chain experience.
Knowledge of ERP systems, Supply Chain Planning Systems, PeopleSoft, SAP, CATS (Fulcrum), COEP, Fuze,CoFEE,Tableau and SQL.
Attention to detail, data accuracy and quality of output.
Ability of program management success.
Ability of strong project management.
Experienceof RAN,Core, and Access hardware.
