Description Job Description Position Purpose/Summary: Assists Member Business Loan Officers and Management by providing administrative support including communicating with Borrowers, Attorneys and other Professionals ensuring that Business Members are receiving quality service and having a positive experience. Duties also include reviewing all Power of Attorney Documents for the Credit Union, ensuring that the documents comply with established policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All duties and responsibilities align with Visions Federal Credit Union and are subject to reform at-will of the company. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: + Reviews all Power of Attorney documents for the Credit Union to ensure that the documents are compliant with already established policies and procedures. + Performs administrative functions for the MBL lending staff and Management, including composing and sending letters, preparing loan packages for closing and assisting the MBL lending staff with portfolio management. + Responsible for communicating with Attorneys, Lending Staff and Borrowers to ensure loan packages are ready to close. + Responsible for the day to day tracking of all missing documentation from the loan files. This includes working with the lending staff to obtain missing items and preparing monthly reports for management detailing the missing items. + Responsible for ordering Flood Searches for all off MBL real estate loans. + Prepares monthly reports for Management. + Reviews commitment letters to ensure that all terms and conditions and closing requirements of the approval are detailed in the letter. + Ensures that all loan documentation is properly imaged and that the physical loan file contains all required documentation. + Assists the MBL lending staff with ensuring that all loan covenants are met. Prepares and sends letters at the direction of the lending staff when covenant violations are found. + Responsible for the preparation and submission of all IRS 4506T documents. + Responsible for the tracking and reviewing of all IRS transcripts. + Reviews all file maintenance on the core systems performed by the MBL staff. This includes but is not limited to rate changes, payment changes and account maintenance. + Assists MBL lending staff with the day to day relationship and portfolio management. + Prepares loan documents on an as needed basis. + Reviews loan documents prior to closing to ensure that all terms and conditions of the loan approval are detailed. + Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner. + All employees must embrace and foster an environment that supports our mission and core competencies. + Perform other job-related duties as assigned. This position would minimally require an A.A.S. Paralegal degree along with at least three to five years commercial lending experience.
