Do you have very strong proficiency with benefits related matters and would like the opportunity to work for an organization with a great mission? A healthcare organization located west of 495 is looking to hire a Benefits Analyst for a contract position lasting at least 6 months.
Responsibilities: Act as point of contact for retirement plans including pension, 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), 457(f), in compliance with plan provisions and state and federal regulations Oversee activities of subcontracted pension administrator for accuracy and reliability Conduct federally required testing and reporting (ie: non-discrimination testing, 5500s, 8955s, SARs, AFNs) Discuss the process of setting up retirement plans with current employees and resolve any issues in a timely manner Work with vendors and payroll to maintain accuracy with processing payments Act as all around SME on compliance, administration and reporting for the retirement program Collaborate with internal and external resources Other projects as needed
Qualifications: At least 5 years of relevant experience Working knowledge of HR theory, principles and regulatory agencies rules/regulations that impact retirement plans Experience in benefits administration Proven analytical skills and strong Microsoft Office skills Project management and critical thinking skills Benefit certifications or bachelor s degree preferred
